Experience Tesla Android in the best way possible by using our dedicated hardware.

Our latest 2nd generation devices are plug and play, there is no additional configuration required, just power it up via USB-C, insert an optional sim card and you are ready to go!

Tesla Android does not need to be wired directly to your Tesla's infotainment computer / main display. It does not void your warranty in any way.

Run Android apps in your car just like you do on any other phone/tablet.

There are no limitations to what you can do with your device since it comes with Google Play Store preinstalled, you are also more than welcome to tinker since everything is open source. You can use turn by turn navigation with Google Maps/Waze, play lossless music from your favourite streaming service or play video - sky is the limit!

On top of putting all the components in a high quality enclosure we can provide the best support for the setups we control. Every part of the device is validated and we know it can handle the heat! Automotive environments are tough and we are ready for it with high endurance storage and adequate cooling!

Long term support

We've been supporting our software since 2022 and we offer dedicated hardware since 2023 and all our users get frequent Over The Air software updates, we embrace improvements that Tesla constantly ships to their fleet while constantly adding new features and fighting for every last bit of performance.

It is also worth mentioning that sales of hardware cover our engineering costs, since the software is open source.

Vehicle Compatibility

MCU 1 cars (Model S/X made before March 2018 without an infotainment upgrade) are not supported, as the built-in browser is out of date and too slow.

Vehicles with MCU2 are supported, but MCU3 (AMD Ryzen, 2022+) cars are recommended for a smooth experience.

Repairability

The device is designed with repairability in mind, every component can be replaced by the user, we provide replacement parts - just reach out to us at store@teslaandroid.com.

We manually assemble all our devices and test them before shipping.

Upgradability 

Tesla Android devices can be upgraded with latest hardware additions when new generations come to market. We provide affordable upgrade kits making it possible to retrofit 1st generation devices.

Shipping timeline:

The devices are in stock. When you place an order the most current version of the system will be flashed. You should expect it to ship in up to 48-72h.

Standard consumer rights apply, the hardware is covered by warranty.

Important information for people living in the EU

Prices do not include VAT for European orders, it will be added on checkout. If you order as a company you'll get a 0% invoice and VAT will be refunded after checking VIES.

Note on warranty:
