2025 was a very significant year for Tesla Android.
Over the past twelve months, we delivered five Over-The-Air software updates, each focused on making the experience of running Android in your car faster, more stable, and more reliable. These updates brought meaningful performance gains, improved networking, and better overall system responsiveness.
We also opened beta access to all users, making it easier than ever to test new features early and help shape future releases. Your feedback throughout the year played a huge role in guiding our development priorities.
Introducing Tesla Android (2nd Generation)
In November 2025, we launched the Tesla Android (2nd generation) hardware.
This new revision addressed many of the limitations of our first product, bringing hardware improvements, better thermal behavior, and a more robust overall platform. The launch went smoothly, even during the intense Black Friday / Cyber Monday period, and most customers received their devices quickly despite the seasonal shipping rush.
Kicking Off 2026 with a New Software Release
Since it’s still 2025 in Poland—and we’re officially entering the first week of 2026—there’s no better way to celebrate than with a fresh software update.
